It began as Galactic Freightways, which was incorporated in Y10 and continued to grow rapidly until it was acquired by the Mecrotica conglomeration a year later. With a new name and additional investment, the Viraxo business is continually evolving and expanding to meet the Galaxy's demand for secure and reliable transport of ships, vehicles, personnel and equipment.
While Viraxo's sister company, Mecrosa, is also a transport provider, the pace of business has long excluded it from being able to operate a light transport division. In the ambitious Galactic Freightways operation, Mecrosa saw an opportunity to satisfy its customers in all aspects of the hyperspace freight busines. By adding the trading group's resources and expertise to the experience and energy of the up-and-coming transport company, the newly minted Viraxo is poised to fulfill the Galaxy's transport needs.
