Not just another run of the mill mining operation, Kobola was formed out of a growing necessity of an ever expanding group, known as The Damned. With operations running better than ever for the collective corporations, it was becoming quite apparent that acquiring raw materials was more of a tiring task than it should be and perhaps the time had come for the collective to expand into another phase of operations, mining. Talks began between members of The Damned as their new agenda would require extensive planning and research. After setting a baseline of principles and ideals, Camaris sa Vinitta was tasked with leading the new endeavour and preparing it for it's ascension into galactic prominence. With a short recruitment drive and maneuvering of key personnel, the pieces began to fall into place as once dormant mines began to operate again, additionally with new mines starting up for the first time. The crack of the whip and the sound of the drill were the soothing music to the ears of the Kobola as business had begun and a new chapter started for The Damned and her sisters.
The Damned conglomerate was dissolved in Year 10 and its operatives all departed for their own ventures and destinations unknown. Kobola was kept in the family, however, as it was given to Dac Kain, the owner of Kain Services. Retaining close ties to its former sister companies — Mecrosa and Xucphra — through the Mecrotica conglomeration, Kobola continues to work hard and fast to meet the galaxy's never-ending hunger for mineral wealth.
